It was ideal running weather today. It was 63 with a nice breeze and humidity at 70%. I ran 7.57 miles in :59:42:28. Not a good time but I wasn’t going for speed today. I just wanted to get some mileage in. I’m still having a difficult time maintaining my focus in running. I don’t know [...] What an amazing person and athlete: New York Marathon Derartu Tulu demonstrated today what it means to be a champion. She won the New York marathon with a time of 2:28:52 and showed sportsmanship like I’ve never witnessed before. Yesterday I went to the tailspin halloween pet adoption fair. It was pretty cool. There were all kinds of dogs there and most were costumed for halloween. It was funny to see so many dogs in ridiculous costumes along with their costumed owners. I use the word “ridiculous” in a nice way…cute, might be the better [...] |
