This is a pretty darn good merlot. And, that comes from someone that is not a fan of merlot. I just don’t care much for them.
I didn’t buy this merlot. Actually , a friend brought it over a couple of weeks ago when I cooked a paella.

I cooked a paella last night for myself and a few friends. It was nice. Paella is my ultimate favorite dish. This is my second paella of the year. I usually cook a paella two to three times a year and invite a group of friends to the house and, we usually have quite a [...] I tried another Pinot noir that I haven’t tried before. It was ok. It was nothing to yell about or, to slap your grandmother about. It was simply ok. This is a decent Pinot. It’s very light. Actually, it seemed quite watered down after drinking the aquinas cab I previously bought. I guess that’s what to expect after drinking such a robust cab sauvignon as aquinas.
Darn good wine! I’m certainly no wine connoisseur but I will say that this is one of the best wines I’ve had in a very long time. It was great. If you’re into reds [...] I like this Pinot. It’s nice & dry with little aftertaste. I like wine for it’s taste & for the way it compliments a meal, -not to get drunk…that’s what maddog 20/20 is for-ha! I [...] I’m really not drinking wine this early on Sunday. That would be a sin;) I opened this bottle last night & drank one glass of wine. It was good. I have grown to love Pinot noir. I favor pinots as much as Chiantis. A few years ago I was all about zinfs & [...] I bought this wine yesterday at target. It was pretty cheap. I like this wine a lot. I’ve been a fan of Ravenswood wines for a long time. |
